This is a Mk2 car with the double pin guide replaced with a guide flag but still uses the fixed pickup braids. The motor has also been change and is the same unit used in the Mk2 Mini Copper with the metal axle bracket fixed to the motor and the triangular rear bearing sockets have been made semi-circular but they don't support the rear axle. The whole unit is only held in place by the motor supports.. At the same time the holes under the internal chassis braid clips have been filled in, possible to add extra strength around the front mounting screw.

This car was a non-runner and I had to change the motor unit and replace the rear tyres, these came from the MRRC Cortina body kit and are the later, softer and flat profile, SP2 tyres.
